ESGlogic helps Belgian and European SMEs and mid-caps make their transition happen. Not on paper: in their plants, supply chains, products and investment decisions.

Frameworks (CSRD, VSME, SBTi, EcoVadis, B Corp...) are our tools, not our end goal. What drives us: turning constraints into competitive levers, cutting real emissions and giving business leaders the means to act.

We are also one of the players behind the VSME Medals, a certification framework that makes sustainability accessible to SMEs and is gaining real traction in the market.

🔎 The role

You own the E pillar at ESGlogic. You are the team's climate reference and the driving force behind our environmental ambitions.

Your mission: help clients understand their impact, reduce it and turn it into a strategic advantage. You work from diagnosis through to action, with concrete, quantified solutions tailored to each company's reality.

What you will do:

• Carbon footprints across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064)
• SBTi trajectories: target setting, submission and follow-up
• CO2 Performance Ladder: certification support and level maintenance
• Climate transition plans: decarbonisation levers, roadmaps, business trade-offs
• Climate risk analysis, physical and transition (TCFD, scenario analysis)
• LCA and ecodesign: measuring product and service impact to rethink them
• Training and awareness for client teams
• E contribution to CSRD, VSME, EcoVadis and B Corp engagements
• Pre-sales: scoping client needs, writing proposals, answering tenders

You run your engagements end to end and see the impact of your work first-hand at our clients.

✅ Your profile

Prerequisites:

• Ideally an engineering (civil, industrial) or bioengineering degree
• 2 to 4 years of experience in climate consulting or a carbon/environmental role
• Strong command of the GHG Protocol and SBTi methodology
• Hands-on experience with LCA and/or climate risk analysis
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to a CEO or CFO

➕ Strong plus

• Working knowledge of Dutch
• Familiarity with ESRS, especially E1
• Tool proficiency (SimaPro, OpenLCA, Ecoinvent, carbon platforms)
• Experience with industrial or retail SMEs
