Who they are
A reference centre for neurological rehabilitation, CHNWL supports adult and paediatric patients in Ottignies after a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or as part of chronic neurological conditions. A member of the Saint-Luc UCL hospital group, the hospital has 159 beds and 288 staff members, and is also running ArborEssence, a construction project designed from the outset around energy efficiency.
How we structured their ESG approach

Key takeaways
“In a hospital, more than 90% of the carbon footprint lies outside the walls. What keeps the approach on track isn't the report, it's having entrusted each workstream to an internal lead who owns its deliverables.”
