En-ROADS Simulation
System dynamics simulation from MIT Sloan and Climate Interactive for testing global climate policy scenarios in real time.
About the workshop
En-ROADS is a scientifically rigorous climate simulation tool developed by MIT Sloan and Climate Interactive. Participants play the role of global policymakers and test levers (energy, efficiency, prices, technology, land use) to see their impact on temperature rise by 2100 in real time.
What participants learn
- Grasp systemic interactions between climate policy levers
- Understand why there is no silver bullet — only integrated strategies work
- Experience the scientific basis behind 1.5°C and 2°C pathways
- Translate systemic insights into business strategy decisions
