What is B Corp certification?
B Corp Certification is an integrated business certification that assesses and verifies a company's social, environmental, and governance impact against the B Lab Standards.
Companies complete the B Impact Assessment, which evaluates governance, workers, community, environment and business practices.
Certification requirements depend on company size, sector and industry, ranging from 20 to 124 requirements to be certified.
Two types of requirements:
- Basic Requirements: Eligibility, Legal requirements, Risk Profile
- Themes Requirements: based on 7 themes (Human Rights, Purpose & Stakeholder Governance, Fair Work, Justice Equity Diversity & Inclusion, Climate Action, Environmental Stewardship & Circularity, Government Affairs & Collective Action)

Phase 1: Kick off

- Analysis of the B Impact Assessment questionnaire based on the 7 new standards

Phase 3: Action Plan and Implementation
- Development of a tailored ESG action plan
- Workshops to identify and structure initiatives
- Implementation through policies, actions and tools
Objective: implement the initiatives required to meet B Corp standards.
Phase 4: Validation and Submission
- Final review of the application
- Preparation of supporting documentation
- Submission of the file to B Lab for certification
Objective: validate the application and obtain B Corp certification.
